I have removed 5 of these with broke diff all on turbo cars and hard launches , you are trying to go from a single traction diff to pulling on both axles this will cause the diff to break and when it does 5 out of the 5 I have changed took there trans with it and I have seen this with dozens of other types

The pressure puts stress on the brass bushings between the spider gears and the Diff housing wareing them out , you would be better off weling the spider gears so they cant turn because when they do with the load the pg puts on then its only a matter of time , the longest I know of is 2.5 years and the least is 3 months

I wish you the best , but sometimes its best to not go cheap on some parts , and some you can get away with
