I have an '01 ZX3 with the rack from batinc and it is first-rate. The rack itself is from Ford of Europe and, as mentioned, mounts to holes that are pre-threaded. You might want to call the folks at batinc and ask them if it will fit your Focus. Do you have an '05 ZX5? If so, check for the holes. If not, check for them on a ZX5 at a dealer. Is the '05 ZX5 (or ZX3) any longer/wider than its predecessor (I have no idea what the dimmensions are)?
