this is an aftermarket one, with red inserts instead of black, but you get the idea.

DZ, they toughen up the motor mount a LOT. so you get tighter shifting, driving, braking, wheel hop, etc. Jetrinka says it is the single most influential mod he has done as far as driving is concerned, here:

see post 43. he actually knows a lot about this topic. good source of info on it. he has helped me a lot.

just know, though, that many people have complained of there being REALLY bad vibrations after doing this. it is something i worry about. which is why i would try this first....24 bucks instead of 100 to 200 for a whole mount. they say, though, that the spi and autos feel it moreso than stds. i do not know if that is true. others say it is not bad at all, you get used to it in a week, and so on. almost ALL say it is worth it for the difference.
