Put a .005 R/T 10 sec. flat car against a .505 R/T 10 sec. flat car and see who lights em' up first. The momentum you carry across the beams is crucial as the track gets smaller.
He also never said he wasn't bracket racing which a lot of smaller tracks due to stretch out the events.
Regardless, from the first beam to the last in ANY race at the track your reaction to the light whaether in heads up racing or bracket racing is huge.
In heads up racing it can be a slower car beating a faster car, which I have posted slips of.
