Not sure where you got your info but you can take a 16 sec Focus to FFW and run it in competioion all day long all weekend. I ran these events from 2002 to 2005 and loved it and there was MANY stock to wild Foci there running as well as 14 sec mustangs
All it takes is the want to go , cost of getting there and entry fee then take your stock Focus and have fun
