I want to agree with you to an extent but I will say this. They are sporty. But they are not sports cars. There is a fine line between the two that I will say very few Focus owners have crossed in my opinion. You can drop a V8 in a Yugo, and it's still a Yugo.
It's fun making the Focus go fast, but I prefer to be realistic. The Focus and SVTf are great performers for their class, but it's no Lotus.
