Rear wiper motor...anyone else have this problem?
I'm on my third rear wiper motor in as many years of having the car...is it just me, or is this a serious design flaw? From the one that just stopped working, it appears that water works its way down the shaft and corrodes the housing, which either fuses the shaft to the housing or the water is making it into the transmission and seizing it. The only way Ford prevents water from working its way into the car is with a small o-ring and a washer, which are obviously not up to the task. Anyone else have this problem?
