What numbers were off?
I was going by zx3's dyno chart above, so if someone's car is modded then the actual numbers will be different (but the principle still the same).
In the end anyway, the proof of the benefit of shifting at a higher rpm for racing is in the time slips.
: Have both you and Ripped tried shifting at 6500 rpms and then at 6000 rpms at the track?
Was there a difference?
I always shifted at exactly 6000 rpm, maybe I should have gone higher ...
