Are you high? Stock 5.0's ran low 14's and high 13's right off the showroom floor (mine did). 4.6 cars got killed by 5.0 cars until the 260 hp 4.6 came out in '99. Now they are pretty even. Automatic 5.0's might have 15's stock, but not a stick.
