After having mine done for a while now (couple thousand miles) I wouldn't go back, but what I might do it look for a medium somewhere. Either cut off the riveted weight and thread a bolt that I can used to attach a varying counterweight, or just hack off maybe 1/2 the existing brass weight. I like what it did for the shifter, but with the STS, not the the extent that I could feel it.
Honestly though I'll probably just leave it, I'm generally liking it.
