Just need a shorter bolt (with a washer) to put back in the hole I suppose.
Though, I did look at mine again, and I don't believe that hole goes into the tranny.
It's a separate cast piece that the linkage mounts to, so there shouldn't be any problems with leakage.
Now about the 5th and 6th gear, that's
really strange...
Did you have the bushings and bolt back in place when you lost 5th and 6th
