it doesnt matter that much in a straight line. The sheer amount of power and torque those make will make up for whatever in-ability to shift they have. Me and my buddy with his stg 1 chip and exhaust on his SRT-4 lined up. From a dig, dead even till 3rd gear, he pulled a few cars. From a dig with a car head start he couldnt pass me. Its the torque and their gearing are their strong points, 3rd gear is a monster in those things. And also your statement is very similar to whatevery else says about people who drive focus's, and what people say about honda people, and so on and so on.
