Oval Track Focus Camber Question

I have a 2002 Focus that I just built for oval track racing. I need to get as close to 4 degrees of camber on either side of the front end as I can. The big problem is I'm not allowed to use any after market parts. I've bought new lower ball joints and slotted the mounting holes as much as I dare but that only gives me one degree. If I slot the strut mounts at the top, will that increase my camber ? If so, what direction will give me the desired camber? I need negative camber on the right side and positive camber on the left. Does anyone have any other ideas to increase the camber I need ?? Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.

I was about to link a thread, when I realized it was a prev. one of yours (shucks).

When you slot the strut towers, moving the right one in for more camber & the left one out for less would be the direction you need.

Ok thanks. I'll give it a go this weekend. It's the last bit I need to get right before track testing in a few weeks.

If you could find a ball joint with a little longer attachment...

Sleaze it out a bit further...

I road race an 05 model with H&R's as my front struts. With the help of a misguided Miata driver and a direct wheel to wheel I picked up4 degrees of neg camber. As the strut housing is held in the knuckle at the bottom and clamped tight, what we found was a bend in the housing of less than 3/8 " . The insert operated fine but it equated to massive amounts of camber all done at the bottom of the suspension. Yes we have camber plates but more camber change is experienced at the bottom than the top. Just a thought.

Hmmm. Now I need to find a misguided Miata driver. That shouldn't be too difficult. I'll see if there is any way to bend this mount or housing without the Miata driver first.

So, I slotted the upper strut mounts by about an inch each. I know have 2.5 degrees of camber on the right front and 1.7 on the left side. Before I slotted the strut mounts I had 1.6 on the right and 1.1 on the left. It would be great to get another degree especially on the right side.
