svtf vs 2.o dura
 

i have a race with a guy from this forum with a 01-02 svtf. i think in the 1/4 and have a very very good shot of beating him. i have 05 duratec with fs cai, borla exhaust, fc tb, x2-cal tune by wanye on 93 oct and 17' rim with agressive perf. tires. i think all he has is a drop in k+n air filter. ive driven a svt before and i know they are ok low end but great top end. my car is great low end and ok top end. i really think its a drivers race. whats your input?? what are my chances

wow, with 17' rims youd be way slow....lol
seriously tho, if he doesnt screw up and miss a shift or something, hes going to take you.

It'd be close. netdrgoon runs low 15's but he also has a cosworth header and cam's. That's enough to beat my 15.4. Better get him off the line is all I can say, If you don't horsepower will win out.

i ran a 15.4 1/4 before so i think its a drivers race i need to win one for the d20's!!!

the higher the speeds go the more the svt has an advantage. what was your trap speed when u ran a 15.4

87 mph i dont remember 100% thou i dont have the print out.

Still waiting on the GB to wrap up. Then there will be cams (stage I cranes with a timing adjustment tool).

The track was slick the other night though..everybody was running slow. Kinda pissed me off cause the temps were right for 14s...just the track condensation wasn't.

I bought something else last night...a hawker odyssey pc680 battery...~14lbs compared to the 38lb stocker...less weight FTW..lol.
