Thanks Focus Fanatics :)

I just wanted to say thanks to all the excellent people here on Focus Fanatics. I started autocrossing last year and was full of questions which I posted here (sometimes twice [:I] ) and always received positive and very informative feedback. I bought The Secrets of Solo Racing by Henry Watts which is loaded with great information, but most of that info, if not all, is available here on this site, and is Focus specific is. There are some terrific Fanatics here and I just wanted to send my thanks. [thumb]

Um, you're welcome, but I don't think I was one of the ones to contribute priceless information. Maybe the finger should be pointed back at you for sucking me into autocross and always being a positive guy, Mike. [thumb]

I think I love getting people into the sport almost as much as participating myself. I'm such an SCCA cheerleader...

You really are Carrera.

My SCCA information kit should be here in a few days. I was looking at SCCA rally prepared class.

[rofl]

I don't think I've heard it put better than from yourself. I'm just glad there are people to talk about it with as I grow into this sport. It's definitely nice to have knowledgeable people around.

hobby, not sport......sports involve your body as the mechanism, [:D]

^^The car does nothing without the driver. If Golf is a sport, so it AutoXing...

someone used to have a quote in their sig on here, it was something close to

auto racing and rock climbing are the only two true sports, the rest are just games.
