Wheel Vibrations

Hey guys i'm new to this forum so i don't knwo if this was ever talked about earlier. So my front drivers side wheel has some loose to it. When i lift the car up and move it up and down to check and see if the wheel bearing is worn it doesn't move one bit, also dosen't move to the side. I have gotten a wheel allignment also. WHen the car is on the ground and level if i push hard or kick on the wheel at the top it moves, very little but it dose. THe other side doesn't do this at all. I looked under the car and it seems that the shock strut connected to the knuckle and the driveshaft move with it. This is a problem at speeds above 65 mph is when i feel it or when i have the wheel turned to go with the road. There is almost a vibration that's steady in the steering wheel, as if it had a beat to it. This gets very annoying!!!! I was told it shoudl be the bearing in the hub but like i said earlier it doesn't wooble at all when it's in the air. So i don't knwo what this. If you guys could help out. Thanks. One more thing. My clutch pedal has no resistence to it. It's barly harder to push than my gas pedal, it's so weak. WHat coudl this be from, it still works great it's just so soft . ??

You know.. that is wierd.... my car just started vibrating too... I can feel it in the steering wheel.. I am going to get new tires any way.. so I will see if that helps.... and my right strut makes a grinding sound in the morning, then in goes away after about 10 minutes of driving.... It almost sounds like it is grinding against the wheel well when I turn it, but then it will continue to do it as the up and down motion of the car starts (you know when your driving, lil bump here, lil bump there).... even when I drive straight... then it just goes away....

as for the clutch, I would check your clutch fluid.. you might have a slow leak that lead to air in the lines (similar to getting air in the brake lines.. real soft pedal feel)...... also, check to make sure there is fluid in there anyway... lol

when you jacked it up did you do it under the frame rail if so try it under the front control arm and try again for movement

What i belive it to be is the joint between the knluckle and the shock. I think there might be some loose there or in the upper part of the shock strut? I will try and fidn out for sure when i change my oil next time. There has been soem kidn of recall on this issue i think. i went to focusescort.com and under soem section they shoudl reports and this might be on one of them but i dont knwo for sure?

Mine does the exact same thing. I have been told by more than one person that the strut mount is binding. I was also told my right coil is sagging. So I am going to replace my coils, struts, and strut mounts, and I sure hope this solves my problem.
