WRC Monte Carlo Rally Jan20-22,2006

Just wanted to give some of you guys an update in case you haven't been following on WRC.com. After the first day you guys will be happy to know that Gronholm is leading for Ford after Loeb crashed his Citroen in the final stage of today. Solberg's bad luck streak continues as well as he has an oil leak that is reported to be almost unrepairable before the start of Saturday's rally[mad] .

1. Gronholm ____ Ford
2. Atkinson _____ Subaru
3. Gardemeister _____ Privateer (Peugeot 307)

Wow, Loeb crashed, eh? Maybe he'll have to work for his championship this year. Is Markko Martin coming back into the mix, or will he be off for a while?

I swear sometimes it's just scary what Loeb can do when he's down.

What do you mean? Speed (in all it's wisdom) isn't airing WRC anymore so there is no race summary.

Or goes to show you what Gronholm can do when he has a capable and reliable car.
