SVT header and EGR valve
 

I just purchased an SVT Header to replace my stock Zetec header. I want to get it JET hot coated, but before i do that is there anything i have to have done to it. I read a while back that someone got an EGR tube welded to their SVT header. I want to stay emmissions legal. What are the parts i need, where does the tube get welded to the header and is there any prep work i should do before i take it to a shop to get welded?

The Ford Racing SVT header kit has the EGR welded in with a new egr tube as well.

^^^what cat is needed with the Ford Racing SVT header, i would assume a high performance one. If i was going to get a new header i would definitly go with the svt route, but i cant void my warrenty and i know messing with the cat will do that.

^...i dont think that they'd void the warantee if you replace the cat, but you could always swap the headers, etc. back to stock

I realize there are kits out there and i am not going to go that way. I got a really good deal on an SVT header on its own and want to know how to modify it so that it is similar to the one from McNewsAuto. Any help would be much appreciated.
