Four Wheel Disc Brakes?
 

I ran a search but it is almost a year old, so I thought I would bring it back and ask...I have an 02 focus sedan that has crummy drum brakes in the back and I am curious if it would be easy and fairly inexpensive to buy the brake lines from another focus sedan that has disc brakes in the rear and swapping them out myself. I hate the drum brake look and if I was to have 4 wheel disc brakes, then when I upgrade to bigger brakes, then I could change all four. I think it would look silly with big front brakes but a crappy drum in the back. Suggestions???

The post is a year old, your car is 3 years old, I dont think anything changed drastically.

Viney266 just did this swap on his ZTW. Used SVT brakes. We are gonna try to get a write-up soon and I have pics.

Not really difficult, but time consuming. I did stainless lines at the same time and a few other things while the car was on the lift. It went smoothley. It would be hard to do without a lift, but it is doable ( one wheel at a time)
