Racing, Drifting, and Boobies- Come out to HyperFest! July 16-17
 

Hey guys and gals, if you want some fun this July, come out to HyperFest. Conveniently located at Summit Point, WV, it is only a couple hour drive from most anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic region. We always have a good group of people there, so you won't be alone.

If you want to drive fast legally and safely, and want to learn how to go even faster, this is a great event to get your feet wet. HPDE groups will give you some classroom time to talk about technique, and you get 3+ hours of on-track time with an instructor. Your car doesn't need to be a race car; just properly maintained (items like adequate brakes, good tires, etc) Not to mention, the cost per minute on track is much, much cheaper than autocross.

Not sure you can commit to that much track time? Then sign up for a Hyper-drive, where you get a short classroom session, and then 20-25 minutes of on track time with an instructor.

There are tons of other activities going on too. If you are into drifting, the US Drift Nationals will be holding an event there during the weekend. Or, if you want some zany fun, watch the Rollover competition, where people try to roll their car as many times as possible. And its not all cars. This year they are hosting the Daisy Duke Contest; should be a lot of nice eye-candy.

(HPDEs will require NASA membership. Its a great value as you get a subscription to Grassroots Motorsports, the best automotive enthusiast magazine around, along with discounts to several different venders)

You caught my attention with the word "boobies" but there is a disturbing lack of "boobies" mentioned in the post . . . Don't toy with my emotions, man! Joe, I expect better from you in the future.

Now, when you say "Daisy Duke" contest, do you mean Catharine Bach or Jessica Simpson? Jessica Simpson is hot, but brunettes are way hotter than blondes. These are the details I need, not a bunch of nonsense about cars, racing, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Lookit Eqz.... The race pimp... Hi Joe.. I should at least be up to spectate.. Never did see the roll over contest last year... sounds really stupid but I gotta see it.. where do they do it.. infield past turn 5 ??

I might be there. I was there last year to spectate and had a good time!
