RS Gauge Cluster!
 

I found an RS gauge cluster, and i was wondering if it would be plug and play compatible to the US focus? I understand that the speedometer reads higher, but am i correct when i assume that it can be fixed by the same way if you were to replace the gauges, ie speedhut, in a US cluster? I did try and use the search, but unfortunatly you can't search for words less than 3 letters.

the RS is RHD, isn't it? The guage won't fit right in a north american car, I wouldn't think...

I'm pretty sure there are LHD RSs as well.

They made both lhd and rhd. Not sure about the same pinout's on the wiring though.

That's true, I'd say buy it, try it out and let us know. Hopefully it works out.....I might wanna look for one myself.

I asked the guy yesterday that has the cluster, to take some pictures of the backside, but he has yet to respond. I'm a little hesitant on buying it and it not working correctly as it's around $100. Whats even better is the readout is in MPH, not KMH.

edit: the guy that has the cluster also got some complete set of RS seats, front and back. He's asking $525 w/o shipping. Would this be a good price?

Those are pretty good prices for the seats, and the cluster (a regular factory cluster costs about $300-400).

Did you get any pictures of the frontside? I wouldn't have thought that the FRS guage would have come in MPH, only in metric units.
