How much of the leather seats are actually real leather?

I'm pretty sure in my 2001 Mustang, Ford used real leather just for the seating part of the front seats. The sides and back of the front, and all the back seats were like a fake leather.

How much real leather is used in the Focus?

Even if it is real leather, it's probably low grade, like "genuine" leather. I don't care about the quality, I just wish they had perforated the damn things, they get sweaty when it's warm out.

I live in TX. Its freaking HOT here. Leave it out for 10 min and kids get cooked. Happens all the time, don't ask.

Get AC going and never thought seats were hot.

I think the seats are sweaty, not hot...at least compared to other leather seats in cars I've been in.

More than likely just the seating areas are leather the back and sides are usually pleather. This is mostly the norm For a lot of manufacturers.

^^ this. "Leather seating surfaces" generally means the part your body touches. Although, if we can't tell the difference between the real and the fake, who cares?

But is it rich, Corrrrrrrinthian leather?
