Officially a Ford Focus Owner!!!
I got my 2006 Ford Focus in Metallic Silver today! It is a ZX4 ST loaded with heated seats, 6-CD player, sunroof, and some other stuff. 58,000 miles and it does have a salvaged title but the guy I bought it from got it with 5,000 miles after it had been hit and he has a professional shop but is now retired so he has just been fixing up cars and driving them for personal use. He was a really nice guy and we live in a very small area so we had a lot to talk about and I got to know him well. Its in immaculate condition other than very minor cosmetic ware on the exterior. Super excited, especially because of the D2.3 in it! Now what should I do to it... [:D]

I'll add some pictures to the post when I get a moment.

Where in MN? I'm formerly of Brooklyn Park, also used to have an '06, but a ZX3.

Southwest in a little town of like 4500. Just a few miles from the IA border. Nice, I was originally wanting a hatchback but they're so hard to find with a 2.3 and this was such a great deal.

Congrats on the purchase! I love my ST. Its a great little car. Suggestions for modifications usually go something like drop, tint, intake, and exhaust around here. But it really depends on what you want to do with your car and how much money you have to do it with. Either way, you got an awesome blank canvas![like]

How far SW Minnesota? I-35 is about central. I grew up 25 miles east of I-35 and 4 miles into Iowa. 4500 is a BIG town in that neck of the woods.

When I first moved to Iowa from the Twin Cities, my first thought a few miles past the border was: "Where do these people go to school?"

Congrats, and [welcome] to FF. I had an '05 ST, and had a great time with it. I added 17" wheels and 205/45/17 tires, SVT front brakes, and a bigger rear sway bar. It transformed the car. The 2.3 is really a super motor for a dd, torquey, but good mileage as well. My only issue was uncomfortable seats, so I swapped in an SVT interior. Enjoy.

Hahaha! Yeah, my school district has 9 "towns". My high school, grades 9-12, has about 250 kids. Home town ~500 people and 12 miles away to go to school. Like 10 miles of corn fields between.

Nice, I'm in mn, just went through that area to Sheldon IA and Jackson Mn for work. Lots of corn.
