I know this is a ford based forum...but?

do any of the 30-40 something like that 2012-2013 impala ltz? I rented one when I was up in Michigan with Amanda, I was totally impressed it had a lot of power for the 3.6 but torque steer was a bitch. This wouldn't be the 1st Impala I drove thought I also drove a 2007ish with a 3.9 which was also the ltz model. JUst wondering what your thought's are on the newer impala's oh btw they should have never gotten rid of the ss!

I am 40 and considering a newer Taurus or Fusion. My wife really wants an Explorer. I do like the Cruze RS very well. I am about 2 years out from a gently used vehicle, the Impala is not on my list. Good luck.

Performance wise I couldn't tell ya.. But tbh I was a huge fan of the 90's Impala SS and this new version sucks... I think it's ugly... But then again who just buys a car on pure looks lol idk I think government motors is really dropping the ball with the appearance part of their fleet.. Besides the new stingray I'm not a big fan of anything they have released... Even the new z28 I'm not a fan of the rear...

I dunno about owning one lol it was a rental for a week up in Michigan I was pretty impressed for what it is. If I had to choose between the big three I really don't know what I would choose v8 power di turbo power or n/a power lol.

The 2014 Impala is a good looking car, but the 2012-13 models look like roadkill and drive like it as well. You must be crazy if you drove a 2013 Impala and liked it.

Impala's are nice cars. I know a few friends who own both 2000-05 and 06 on up models and they are pretty reliable cars really.

ahhh chevy.... good the 1st year, falling apart the 2nd and costing 1/2 the original pric the 3rd... and im a chevy guy, ived always hated ford but loved just the focus... confusing?

I had a 2012 Impala as a loaner. I wanted to hate it, but it was a solid car. Handling and so on were not very good, but that isn't really the point. It was a sweet freeway cruiser and the motor was pretty nice. I bet they're a steal used.

Some cars I just can't let go of them having an old person's car stigma and the Impala is one of them along with most products from Buick save for the GN.

I had to get into character to drive the Impala, and made a Frank Sinatra mix CD for the occasion.
