Euro plates?

I live in NY and was just curious if anyone knows if it's legal to have a euro plate in the front. Just like a novelty plate. Thanks

So do you have your front plate on or just have the euro plat under the NYS plate?

it's only on the rear (same w/ older car) and is mounted under the usa plate. as it's longer it does show... prob about 1/2 the full length of the euro plate shows and of that 1/2 on each side of the nys plate.. (confusing, eh? )

See I just want to put one on the front with no NYS plate. I see people with them but I'm just not sure if it's legal. I know NY is pretty picky haha

Its not legal, and you will get pulled over for it eventually.

one solution is to get a Hide the plate for when your not driving

Or

front plates are required in nys.. w/o it it's a violation and a ticket....

See I thought it was illegal but I see people driving with them just on the front. So that's why I'm kinda curious as to weather its legal or not

That has to be about the dorkiest-looking setup out there. A plate peeking from under another plate.
