STEEDA Air Intake Operating Temps

Now that winter has released its grip to the Midwest, at what air temperature is ideal to re-install my Steeda Intake??? I understand that the super cold winter air negatively effects performance.

Moved to DURATEC Ti-VCT Performance (2012-2013).

You will probably get better responses here[thumb]

Actually good to know. I left my FSWerks intake on all winter here. Never got that cold, maybe just below 0 a few days and the rest of the year was about 0. We will see.

At lower air temperatures the engine operates at an increased volumetric intake efficiency. I know of no lower limit to this "increased density" effect. Do you have some sort of data that shows that the increased density effect reaches a point of diminishing returns at very low temperatures?

You took it off for the winter? I left mine on all winter, no real difference.
