Rota slipstreams for slicks?

I was wondering would it be a good idea to use Rotas for drag racing ?

I don't see why not

Thanks I was just wondering if they could take the beating

if these are the same rotas that are made from that super lightweight alloy which rota suggests you only use on tracks because street use will cause them to bend because the metal is so soft i wouldnt recommend it. they MIGHT be okay but i would personally be worried constantly that i was going to warp them or something. alot of stress gets put on the lugs and log holes on a wheel at the track on slicks. however there is no reason you couldnt get a representative from rota on the phone and just ask.

I used to have a set of grids that were 16x7 with 2 narrowed to 16x5 by dom biro , they were destined for his drag car but somehow never put into use , maybe he learned that they weren't good for track use??... lol

Edit : heres a pic if that matters lol
