who here is succesfully running al 103's?

I need to change my plugs and I want to go to 103's again what are you guys running your gaps at for best performance?

beansfocus 03-07-2013 08:33 AM

I run them in my boosted 09. Gapped at .028" and change every other oil change.

badazz2010focus 03-07-2013 08:39 AM

Just stating...you asked and I told. Throw a set in, with the gap at .045-.050" You won't notice much of a difference.

I'm running .050 right now

I also dont think the OP will notice much of a difference vs 103 or 104. Ive ran 103's and gapped them to .045-.050. I just run the standard AutoLight copper 104's, realized there wasnt much point for me to go one step colder with bolt ons

I am running 103's gapped at .050. noticed maybe a bit more pep and a smoother idle over the stock plugs for sure.

Same here.

I have the AR 103's gapped at .050
Works just fine.

I was the one who originally got the idea going after reading it somewhere else, best efficiency from coldest plug without fouling.

I run A103s gapped at .055". I change every 20-30k.

Someone did a dyno and going from a factory gap 104 to a wide gap 103 did make 5 horse power.
