brake question

i have a 2007 zx5. i need to do the brakes and don't necessarily want to upgrade to bigger just want better than stock. any help with rotors and pads will be much appreciated.

you can always go ebc redstuff or green stuff, hawk pads are another option, both are great performance wise with some solid bite to it.
for rotors you can go drilled/slotted and drilled/just slotted if you don't want a normal rotor.
pads are more important when it comes to stopping than the discs, you need that hard bite on the rotor which comes from the pads.
also make sure your calipers are working properly and lubed up.
stainless steel brakelines will also help out alot

I was leaning towards the stop tech slotted rotors from fswerks. the hawk hp plus pads will do me good??? Their like 30 bucks cheaper then the other hawk pads I found on there site.

alright alright those slotted rotors will work. and the hawk hp plus pads will do you just find for some nice bite.
you will be pleased with that brake setup forsure. they can handle some xcross which means they have a solid bite to them so using them during daily driving will be perfect. the slotted rotors will add a little more stopping power towards it.
