Performance wheels and tires

205.50/16 is the stock size..usually best to still to those.
I suggest playing the differences in tire size here

+/- 2% is pretty safe and wont be noticeable but going down to 205/45 is closer to 3.5% difference and the tires will be pricier.

What suspension are you running? The main reason for going shorter over in diameter is for fitment when you are really low and that lower offset, et40, on a 7.5 wheel will be a little trickier too

right now i got a prosystem plus was thinking of going with sportlines soon though to.i was just thinking that less side wall would get more performance and would be stiffer...also can you explain more with of set i was not really planning on going to do a stance thing i just want a great low ride with good summer wheels and tires.

My stock is 205/50/16 and I've got 205/45/16 (I think). It does effect my speedo pretty significantly at highway speeds (5mph is more than you think). I've been considering getting a set of 18" summer rims with ~215/35/18 tires and moving my current aftermarket wheels to winter wheels because the 18"s with a 35 tire is much closer to stock diameter/circumference.

Add your suspension kit or figure out how low you want to go 1st. svt's 7x17''wheel & 215/45x17 tire size is a proven very popular size.

Well I used to, but I live in Maumee now. No one from outside ohio really knows where that is so I keep Toledo on here instead.

Ha we should meet up I live in Perrysburg so I know where Maumee is and I use to live in Toledo.
