Finally broke down and built a proper front bumper.
 
since the kona is still in the garage with no rear suspension i been really working on the ranger. rear bumper and rock sliders as well as trac bars soon to come as well. also found a 5.0 trans and computer to swap into it and a solid axle dana 44 for the front. not much to say other than it is done but not done. Waiting on money to get a winch so i can have that added on in there. completely bolt on by 6 heavy duty bolts. skid plate is not attached but attached to where the old tow hooks were and the rack and pinion cross member. painted for now for the winter till i can find a cheap powder coater.

thanks guys. and i did some of it but my welding isnt the best my my buddy who is a professional rock crawler and other buddy who does fabrication for a living helps do the welding.
