Sorry this my be dumb but the lil black box on the end of the airbox next to fender ,what might that be an can I take it off cause mine is in bad shape [ffrocks]

That is your intake resonator. You don't need it, but once you pull it off, you will hear intake noise. It comes off really easy, since yours is in bad shape - just pull it off. That might break the clips, but who cares lol

Ty for the info don't mind a lil growl from intake might sound better

it doesnt really had any intake noise all u hear is the engine, just keep an eye on your filter itll get dirty faster

Its just a cheap parts store filter for now till I can aford to upgrade either to svt set up or I'm thinkin ice man don't want metal short ram nothin metal its heat siink so will see how things go ty for the info
