Stock internals

I have been reading a lot of different mixed things lately. I am looking at boosting my car and everyone has differnt opinions. I have read probably a million differnt things that the stock internals are forged and can handle being boosted what dose anyone know about that? Is there any experiances on boosting on stock internals or not let me know what everyone thinks could use the answers and opinions thanks guys

There are several people on the site over the years that have booted the SVTF with the stock internals and run succesfully boosted up to 345hp and not have any problems.

Also for the first part of the question, only the rods are forged in an svt engine I believe..

Yes.

That being said, I've heard of plenty of people boosting on stock internals.

Yeah, I didnt mean to say that I would not boost on cast pistons, theyre supposed to hold a lot of power..

Doesn't the svtf have oem oil squirters too.

You should be able to make a lot of power on stock internals. There's a guy on the Turbo Forums that made 800WHP with a stock small block chevy with twin turbos and it never blew up.

You can safely make 260-280 HP on the all stock SVT engine with good tuning
