Just Bought a 2013 Focus SE ! And I can not wait to start toying with it!
SO this is my first car I bought out of school been in 10 years :) I did not sleep the first night I was so worried something would scratch it! I just bought a 2013 Sterling Grey SE with fuel package (I hate the wheels) But plan on changing that along with the rear drums soon with conversion kit. Been searching the net as I plan to do a lot of after market work to this car but every forum I find seems to mostly be about the ST :( Been looking for people who have done similar to what I want to do. I plan on replacing all the lights with LED, putting in heated seats, putting in fog lights, projectors, already ordered weather tech liners. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on where to look or any other ideas. Been looking all over and mostly finding information relating to non SE, though I do enjoy ooogling the very nice ST model pics I am finding on the site!
I was dreaming of an ST but still have to get the fiance his car in a year and pay for our wedding [:(!] so had to go with the SE for myself and try and go aftermarket for everything else. I hope this is the right forum to post this in. I apologize if it is not. |
Check out http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...play.php?f=101 They will have mods and stuff for the 2012-13 2.0L Ti-VCT. You could also check the showrooms for other peoples builds using the same car for some ideas!

Grats on your car! I picked up my Sterling Gray SE with the Sport Package as my second Focus, first to buy new, and I couldn't be happier to own it.
Congratulations again, and good luck with the new car! |
Welcome. There are a good number of people on here willing to help. Have fun with it

@ Kylesvt720 I really thought about getting the SE appearance package + winter package(to get the heated seats) and be done with it but the added cost right now with paying cash was just out of my budget esp as I am also putting down payments on all sorts of wedding reception halls ( 3,500 gulp) and caterers. Fiances car is also at 120k and is an 06 and he drives about 500 miles a week so we are just anticipating a new car purchase as well for him. So just decided to make this car my own after market in good time when I can along the way. I have found some amazing threads on here of what people have been doing to their SE's.
Fiance agreed that next car I could get would be a ST :) WE both just came out of grad school/ Med school so we are just starting out and paying of student loans still and didn't want to be irresponsible with debt so in good time :) Till then I will be perusing all of these truly amazing resources on this site and learning as I go :) have to start some place :) |
Pics or the car doesn't exist [hihi]
Excited to see this build progress |
