PM for 2012 focus with 100,000 miles

I've got a 2012 Focus Titanium that I put about 50k worth of miles on a year(majority highway). I'm just about at 100,000 and was wondering about what kind of preventative maintenance I should be doing on this vehicle. I get the oil changed and tires rotated every 10k but that's about it.

Thanks!

WOW. I thought I had a lot of miles at 30K in about 20 months of ownership. I remember reading the service schedule and it was pretty simple. Mostly oil changes regularly but I would believe approaching 100K you would be looking at doing a coolant change as well as a possible trans fluid change. Air filter if you have not already done so. I do not know if these engines have timing belts. Best suggestion would be to pull out the owners manual and check the maintenance schedule.

You'll have to stop driving it long enough to get any kind of service done LOL!

X2 to that..............just what makes you have to travel that much?

Hey kauserud,

WOW! That's some serious mileage! I recommend that you check out the Scheduled Maintenance section of your Owner's Manual. In the 5th printing, this information starts on page 382. You can download a free copy here: https://owner.ford.com/servlet/Conte...OwnerGuidePage

Happy motoring!

Crystal

I think you will need to replace the spark plugs with 100K miles

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been out on the road again and put another 2,000 on it this week lol.

I finally opened up the owners manual and this is what I've found:

-Every 20k change out the cabin air filter (never been done)
-Every 30k change out the climate-controlled seat filter.
- Every 60K change out the engine air filter(Just purchased a replacement)
-Every 100K change engine coolant, replace spark plugs, and inspect accesory drive belt(s).

Questions I have are

- What is a climate controlled seat filter?
- I just purchased a K&N re-usable engine air filter, do any of you have experience with these?

Only on my second set, replaced the OEM's at 60K
