Thoughts on hydro dipping
 

My friend who does powder coating recently got into doing this. He says its very durable. I'm thinking about getting my engine cover, radiator cover and a few interior trim parts done.

Any of you have experience with it's durability with heat?

I think some of the designs look better than others and can look nice. Especially compared to some faded looking black trim.

Now, who in their right mind would want any car part covered in a graphic of stacks of money, i have no idea[facepalm]

The guys throwing down stacks of cash grudge racing at the local strip. lol. I liked a skull design he had but I didn't think it would stay too clean.

He's doing a mazda cover for my car. I will post up pics when i get it and mount it.

In my experience, it hold up well. Several guys locally have their intake manifolds and valve covers done in turbo v8 engine bays and they're holding up 1-2 years later.
