Debris in Headlight
 

I have a rivet head or something in my headlight. I took it to the Ford dealer where I bought it and they took pictures of it to send to Ford.

Did they at least order a new one for you?

They did not offer that. They looked at it with bewilderment. Finally one said to ask Ford what to do. They took photos of it and sent it via computer. They called me a few hours after I left and said they are 'going back and forth with Ford' on what to do. They said they will call me tomorrow.

Does anyone know if a headlight assembly can be taken apart?

I have read on here that it is glued together.

It is glued together- sealed from the elements. That was in there since it was put together at the factory. It won't harm anything since it seems like it's stuck in place.

Except for the fact I know it is there and see it every time I walk by the car. And it is not supposed to be there.

Got a call from the dealer today, they are going to replace the headlight. Thanl you for the responses.
