Problem pumping gas
 

Hello again, so I have this problem with my car and only being able to pump about $1 dollar worth of gas before the pump clicks and I start to see gas push up back a bit from the fuel tank hole but doesn't overflow out.

Anybody know what the problem is? I originally got the car like this but didn't get around to getting it fixed till now due to the cold weather and taking 10 mins to pump 20 bucks worth of gas is starting to become a PITA.

Most likely problems would be one of these:

-restricted vapor canister
-kinked vapor hose
-restricted fuel filler neck
-fuel vent valve failure

Much thanks, I'm guessing it's the spider situation as the person I got the car from had it in their yard for a solid year or so without use which is pretty wild.

Did you try a different pump? Holding the trigger down half-way?

I know one pump on my local gas station does this, but the ones right beside it don't.

Is the check engine light on?

When the engine is on, the check engine light is not on

Usually evap problems,
-restricted vapor canister
-kinked vapor hose
-restricted fuel filler neck
-fuel vent valve failure
will throw check engine light, the check engine is working?
Sounds like you might have some restriction in filler neck.
