air induct from fog light area

My fog lights dont work, i also never had the desire to use them so im debating on making an air induct spot. instead of having it ontop of the radiator like it is stock i want to make it where the drivers side fog light is. does anyone know what type of hose will hold up to the heat and is flexible enough to bend it down there and around everything?

You can buy brand new foglights from eBay in regular, smoked & a bronze, a set of 2 is around $60 if I remember correctly.

The factory hose that normally mounts to the scoop on top of the radiator should be almost long enough. It's probably about 8-10 inches too short but if you used that you'd only have to buy a small piece of new hose to make up the difference.

Real helpful individuals, eh?

Internet, well no shit.
Guess you have no idea either, huh kiddo?

Heat Riser Tube. It's insulated convoluted tubing that was used for a good many years on late model vehicles. If you get a knowledgeable parts store employee they'll know exactly what it is. IIRC you should be able to find large sizes; the sizes used on cars/trucks were in the 1-7/8" range.

My car has this tube from the fog light.
It's a orange colored tube not sure where it came from was in the car when I got it.

It goes rate to the k&n air filter pretty cool not sure how much it helps but I can take a picture of the set up.
