2.3 stock cam specs anyone? In Factory Manual?
 

Specifically, does anyone have timing and duration events for the stock cam. Lift as well.

Would like it for an approximate comparison to performance cams.

Duration @ .050 int. 203/ exh. 190 LS is 110 degrees gross lift= int. .359/ exh. .318 Pretty wimpy. A little more duration & lift gets you a lot. The stock head out flows the oem cams.[lockdance]

Hey, would you happen to know when the intake begins to open BTDC, or closes ABDC?

No sorry, it doesn't even list it in the shop manual either. To give you a idea, the crane cams I have are= Int. opens -4 degrees atdc/ closes 36 degrees bbdc. Exh= opens 32 degrees bbdc & closes -8 degrees btdc. 4 degrees overlap= intake closes & exhaust opens. This is cranes #224-0010. I do like the next one= 224-0012. Int.= 226 @ .050/exh. 216 @ .050 w/ .410/.385 of lift. Int opens at 3 degrees atdc/ closes at 43 degrees bbdc. exh. opens at 38 degrees bbdc & closes at -2 degrees btdc. The cranes are on a 110 LS vs crowers which are on a 114 LS angle. All the 23 motors should of had cams similar to the cranes spec's to begin w/.
