How to retain OEM Sirius Satellite Radio with Aftermarket HU
I want to go to a double din for better performance and setup options for upgrading my system rather than a LOC like I currently have. My only drawback is I do not know what I need in order to retain my satellite radio when I go to aftermarket HU. Below is what headunit im purchasing as well as dash kit. What stock connector and other accessories will I need to fully install this headunit?

you will need this kit to make it work. the factory one is built in the headunit and can't be retained. install the new parts and call sirius with both esn numbers and have them switch it to the new one.

it's possibly, but i can't promise it will work. i was able to do it in mine. the factory sat antenna plugs in the back of the headunit. there wasn't much slack on it, but if you remove the plastic clip on it and are able to install the new sat tuner close enough for the antenna to reach then it should work.

So all I need is The Pioneer HU, Dashkit, a plug harness so I dont have to splice my stock wires, and the sat retention kit you have posted and I will have everything I need for my install?

an antenna adapter also. the fm/am antenna is a chrysler styler and will need an adapter to the motorola end for the aftermarket headunit.
