2012 Focus - delivery car

I drive a 2012 Focus for use as a delivery car, bought in Sept of 2012, it now has 105,650 miles on it.
The transmission was terrible till 85K then it seemed to straighten out(go figure) at 105K it needed a rear wheel bearing and hub. Otherwise we do regular maint, 50/50 syn blend as recommended, every 5-6K. We are on its second set of tires. The car still gets 35mpg.
The car is terrible in the snow, a combo of fwd and wide tires, these cars should be awd. MJEFF

Great Info! It's good to know the car is holding up fairly well at that high mileage

Throw some snow tires on there, it'll be a huge help. Plus the stock all seasons suck in winter.

Good to see the gearbox is holding up.

Wow! You put 100k miles on a car in 4 months?!?! That's nuts!

Glad it held up. Is it an auto?

They really shouldn't be called 'all seasons' they should be called summer tires that aren't good at being summer tires.

That's a lot of miles, more than the previous highest I'd heard of with over 50k, but that was a 5MT.

Even at the best case scenario (lowest # of miles/ day) of starting at 9/1/12 that was still over 771.2 miles/ day to today.

He didn't say he bought it new though.

If he did.......wow that is a lot of miles a day.

He also didn't say it started with 30k miles as a rental or something either, so it's still a reasonable guess either way.

If the car had 30,000 miles as an ex rental, give or take that's still well over 552.2 miles/ day if it was from the first of september until today.

Since they didn't give a specific date or start mileage that's really all the data I had to estimate by.

Hmm ... I forget the car has been around for nearly 2 years and that you can get them used now haha.
