So what do the sub-model letters mean? S, SE, SES, and SEL?

SE slightly more expensive
SES even more expensive (sporty version)
SEL even more expensive (luxury version)

S standard ( not as in manual transmission, but regular/basic )
SE special edition
SES special edition sport
SEL special edition luxury
ST sport touring

The new ST is Sports Technology. I dunno if that's what it was for the 05-07's tho.

I think the english translation was "confused". I never really ever could considered that 05-07 a true "ST" haha, but that's just me. [neener]
