Metalcore / Post Hardcore music fans

I'm wondering who out there listens to the same music as me. I see some bands close to these genres here, but none of these specific ones. Here is a small list of bands i'm into:

Of Mice and Men
We Came as Romans
Attack Attack!
August Burns Red
Texas In July
I, the Breather
Oh, Sleeper
Woe, is me
Asking Alexandria
Miss May I
The Devil Wears Prada

These bands have been my all time favorites for years. I've seen several of these guys in concert. Feel free to post if any of these ring a bell! I have lots to say about these, and there's more i know i'm forgetting.

I saw Asking Alexandria at the Avenged Sevenfold Buried Alive tour last year in Madison. They were good. I had heard a few of their songs before but TBH I'm not really into that kind of rock. That concert was a fun one though, lots of energy between the bands and the crowd.

slipknot, sevendust, all that remains, spineshank, korn, deftones.

I agree, AA has very high energy in their music. That's what i really like. I've seen them twice in concert, both at The Rave in Milwaukee.

Going back to the earlier days.

Saw Maiden at Rockfest last summer. Fantastic show, I was surprised at how mobile Bruce Dickenson was, he was all over that stage. For whatever reason, they played too quiet though! I'd have to say my favorite band out of the four days there was actually Five Finger Death Punch, lots of great crowd interaction, high energy playing, and they sound mix was very well balanced. Judas Priest is still on my to-see list.

I could list all the bands I've seen but it's got to be nearing 100 by now...

Nice! I think i've only been to about 5 or 6 conerts. Nowhere near your number [hihi] who do you really like to jam to?

I was a teen through the '80s (class of '87) so I was right in the thick of things with metal exploding.

A few prominent Metallica shows and met them when they were on the Lightning tour in '85,they hung out with about 20 of us for about a half hour and just chatted and passed around beers.

Favorite band hands down is Led Zeppelin. I've seen two tribute bands (Led Zeppelin II and Zoso) and it's the closest I'll ever get to the real thing lol. I like a lot of different stuff, Guns and Roses (seen Velvet Revolver), Motley Crue (seen 'em three times), Beatles, Metallica, Iron Maiden (once), AD/DC, Nirvana, Ratt, Alice Cooper (three times), Foo Fighters (once), anything with Dave Grohl, anything with Jack White, Kings of Leon, Wolfmother (once), Jet (once), Black Crowes (twice), 5FDP (once), Black Label Society (twice), Beastie Boys, The Hives (once), Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys (once), I could go on for a while lol. I like country every now and then too, mostly the older outlaw guys and some of the newer guys that can actually play guitar.

Very jealous. I'd love to have been born a bit earlier (I'm 22) to see all of my favorite bands in their prime. Now I get to see them at "seasoned" ages, for better or worse lol.

Out of all the '80s bands still going Maiden is the closest to the same band they were in the '80s and their shows have not let up one bit.
