Theses have been out for a while. You can find them on eBay for a lot cheaper. Aftermarket has been on top of this for months now.

Maybe it's just me, but aren't LED's getting pretty well played out already?

You really think Ford makes them or sources them and puts their name in it? The latter is the answer.

I already knew that thank you for the obvious but third party aka ordering from china via ebay just leaves a bad taste in my mouth

That's a bit nicer looking, and cheaper. It looks less 'hey look, I stuck LEDs on my car' than the other ones did.
