2.3 modded engine dies out after a few minutes.

car is an 04 2.3 sedan 5spd.

mods:

cosworth cams and valve srpings
cosworth intake mani
FC 67mm throttle body
F2 header
fswerks cold air

no cels , car has an aem air/fuel gauge and it reards just about 15 and sometimes jumps up to 17 while driving.

car *kind of* has a tune , from fswerks. Previous owner said there was an issue downloading the tune.

car goes down the road fine.
any ideas guys ?

Id probably start with having someone experienced look at that tune file and data log from there. See if the tune was loaded properly and that its ok.

the xcal2 uses the same USB cable that a printer does. normal usb on one side then the almost square one on the other

if the op isnt in a rush, they are less than $5 on amazon and else where on the net

or if you have a newish printer at home, just borrow it from there
