I have a 2000 SE.
For some time now, more evident in cold weather, the instrument cluster goes wacky and all the needles intermittently drop to or towards zero before bouncing back up to where they should be. This disappears when the vehicle warms up. Doesn't do it every cold start, either. I posted a youtube video here showing the problem. This entire video was shot while driving at a steady speed of ~40 mph at ~1200 rpm. Any suggestions?
I would check all electrical connections, and grounds under the hood. Mine did something similar when my alternator died, and all the gauges just shut off.
