vehicle.

Oil Change instructions for Men:

filter, kitty litter, hand cleaner and a scented tree, write a cheque for
$50.00.

6) In frustration, open another beer and drink it.

7) Place drain pan under engine.

8) Look for 9/16 box end wrench.

9) Give up and use crescent wrench.

10) Unscrew drain plug.

11) Drop drain plug in pan of hot oil: splash hot oil on you in process
swear.

kitty litter on spilled oil.

13) Have another beer while watching oil drain.

14) Spend 30 minutes looking for oil filter wrench.

15) Give up; crawl under car and hammer a screwdriver through oil filter and
twist off.

16) Crawl out from under car with dripping oil filter splashing oil
everywhere from holes. Cleverly hide old oil filter among trash in trash can
to avoid environmental penalties. Drink a beer.

17) Buddy shows up; finish case of beer with him. Decide to finish oil
change tomorrow so you can go see his new garage door opener.

18) Sunday: Skip church because "I gotta finish the oil change." Drag pan
full of old oil out from underneath car. Cleverly dump oil in hole in back
yard instead of taking it back for recycle.

19) Throw kitty litter on oil spilled during step 18.

into hole. Steal sand from kids sandbox to cleverly cover oily patch of
ground and avoid environmental penalties. Wash drain plug in lawnmower gas.

litter on oil spill.

30) Drink beer.

31) Crawl under car getting kitty litter into eyes. Wipe eyes with oily rag
used to clean drain plug. Slip with stupid crescent wrench tightening drain
plug and bang knuckles on frame.

You just know that someone, somewhere, sometime, has done this exact oil change procedure.

CajunR 01-02-2013 11:46 AM

LOL The only step missing is "Burn forearm on exhaust." [thumb]

Urbanspacedude91 01-02-2013 01:51 PM

Lol also that the process of getting from under the vehicle takes like 10 minutes due to the beer and being lazy.

I'm a man, albeit a girly one, and I can safely say that I've never had such an awful oil change experience.

30 minutes and I'm done. I've never made a mess and I never drink while working on a car.

Svizzara 01-02-2013 04:18 PM

LOL @ #47... thanks for posting.

ViperThreat 01-02-2013 04:27 PM

Lol, I swear to god that's how my neighbor works on his car. You know he is working on the car when you can hear a loud clang followed by a lot of drunken swearing.

katiekay 01-02-2013 04:49 PM

LMAO, thanks for sharing![rofl]

azdamay 01-02-2013 11:23 PM

Steps 9 and 15 are familiar to me. Haha. Though I do have the convenience of a van full of tools right outside the garage; they're aimed at repairing appliances, not cars, so many times I still don't have the right tool.

FLYLOW 01-03-2013 05:51 AM

Lol i do take like 45-1 hr to change oil cause i eat so much shit while doing so lol eat, shit, pee in between, always missing a tool, always get a phone call blah blah blah
