Something cool, one of the best feats ever accomplished by a automotive forum.

The members and owner from therangerstation.com decided to pass a web site banner from one side of the nation to the other from one member to a another each signing as it goes. The rules stated it has to be passed by hand, then transported by hand then given to the next member and so on, no mailing it. You also had to take a pic of you signing it.

Here's the banner hanging in the garage of the sites owner before it was passed around.

Here it is passing through Columbus, ohio where me and a few other signed it before passing it on to Indiana via the guy in sunglasses. I'm the one in the tan shorts and black t-shirt.

Here is the path it traveled.

Red: is the starting and finishing points

Green: is who it was past on to be transported to the next point.

Blue: is the location of all the stops it made.

The last stop for the banner was the grave site of a member who had passed away in a car wreck a couple years ago, he was a dear friend to everyone on the site and is missed by everyone.

RIP Chance.

Here's a pic I pulled from a video I made for the website. I dedicated it to Chance.

Wow! That is an amazing adventure for that banner!

Very unfortunate for a life to be taken at such a young age:(

Looking at that map, it didn't exactly take the direct route did it? It even made some stops up in Canada! Neat idea though, good way to keep forum members active and interested.
