L.E.D flex light install help

i got a set of the flex led strips from autozone and also got an on/off switch for them. i want to put them under dash so it light up the driver and passenger side by your feet. i was wondering if anyone had some ideas of where to connect the power to and and where to ground them to.

you can ground it to any metal surface pretty much. as far as power; the ignition harness with provide a good source. which wire depends on how you want them to work. for example whether you want them to be abloe to be turned on all the time or with accessory or only when the car is running.

I have cold cathode tubes in all my footwells. What i did was get a(cant remember what it was called) an inline fuse holder??Basically its a fuse holder you plug into the fuse box and it has a power wire running from it.Run power to your switch then run power of switch to all your lights.

You can ground them to any spot of bare metal. For my LED doorhandles, I have it grounded to the metal frame around the fuse box.

As for my power, I used a vampire tap in line with the switch that powers my headlights/instrument cluster.

I have a secondary switch that I installed in my center console so that they can be turned on/off independant of the headlights.

I found the wire for the domelight in the bundle of wires under the driver side door sill and spliced into it. With that I don't need a switch. They turn on with the dome light when the door opens or when the engine turns off.
